A Korean buncheong inlaid-slip bowl; Joseon dynasty

A Korean, Buncheong, inlaid-slip bowl; C16th Joseon dynasty.

The deep bowl set on a raised ring foot and inlaid in the interior in white slip with chrysanthemum florets, geometric designs and parallel lines. The exterior is similarly decorated, and the whole is applied with a clear glaze. There are adherences of the sand kiln supports to the foot.
17.7 cm diameter

 

Condition; good.
