A Japanese ginbari and cloisonné enamel vase by Gonda Hirosuke.
From the Meiji period of tall, slender, baluster form with a waisted flared neck and foot, the pale blue ground with fine wire.
It is Decoration of an egret standing on one leg in water beside a single iris stem and leaves, the purple flower in ginbari,
signed to the base in red enamel, 11 5/8in. (29.5cm.) high.
