A Chinese Sancai glazed tray, Tang dynasty.
The shallow tray raised on a circular foot, decorated in green, amber and cream splashes falling over the rim to the interior and exterior. With a wooden box, from an old Japanese collection. Diameter, 24.5 cm.
Condition: free from cracks or repairs, commensurate with age.
